Asseblage For Michael C. Haines

This was a fun commission for Michael C. Haines of Mika Meyers PLC in Grand Rapids, MI. He’s an Oil and Gas Attorney. While he was out on a job site, he discovered these cross-sections of iron pipe that were cut off a longer pipe and discarded. He had the fore site to ask for them to save for a future project. I believe he had these for years. I was repairing another of his sculpture pieces and he asked me if I could do something with them for his garden. OF COURSE I CAN! He also had this rock he found on another job site to include in the piece. I don’t normally do assemblage pieces, but this was a very satisfying task.
